NATIONAL ARBORETUM

There is nothing that can replace the monuments against the backdrop of the cherry blossoms. But the natural beauty of the National Arboretum comes in a close second, and it is not as "touristy" as the Tidal Basin. There are even columns that were transported from the Capitol Building appearing like something from an ancient time. It reminds us of the Chicago Botanical Garden... but this is much closer to get to, and frequently visited throughout the year to witness the changing seasons.
A beautiful view

Wonder where these came from?

A great place to put up your feet
