METRO TO DULLES

On our way to Tysons today, we passed through McLean. It was obvious that there has been some forward progress made on the metro rail that is destined to end at Dulles Airport. The issue is what part of the tracks should remain under ground as opposed to above ground. It is an amazing structure to see - and it is supposed to take about 5 years to complete. Given that timeframe, it is even more amazing that a single parking structure/building across the street from us has taken five years to rebuild and it still is not done. It seems that Capitol Hill historic district has very stringent rules. At least the landscaping has begun and the exterior is finally beginning to take on a final look. Somehow, the comparison is ridiculous!
A disaster for the every day commuter

The above ground portion

How do they get that stuff up there?

Why is this taking as long to build as the metro to Dulles?!
