No Longer On The Market

The two condo units in the building behind us both sold within the month. It is not unusual for homes and condos on this block in particular, to sell very quickly. This, in spite of the economic situation and lopsided housing market. The home next to our son and daughter-in-law sold quickly and changed hands from a Congressman from Georgia to a Congressman from Virginia. Down the street is a Senator.  It appears as though DC has not suffered as much as other areas of the country. The amount of home we inhabit for about the same price as our suburban home in the Midwest is absurd. But, the neighborhood is definitely more entertaining, as well as frustrating.

One of the "sold" signs blew off in to the carpet of spent blooms
