The Truckers Truck

Yesterday, the "free parking slots" that are in front of the renovated building across the street were blocked off by orange cones and signage that the spaces cannot be occupied from this morning to some time that I did not pay a great deal of attention to. I erroneously thought that signage for the neighborhood parking only would be coming in short order. Of course I was wrong. What was I thinking? Today, a huge mobile truck occupies the space. I'm not sure what's in it, but it has something to do with the Trucking Association that recently moved back in to it's new space. The Library of Congress has one of these mobile museum trucks that travels the country. This looks something like it, and it advertises Volvo and GE prominently. All I know is that it is taking up a lot of prime real estate, and for the ten cars or so that have found these free spaces.... they must not have been very happy today. Now they know how the neighbors feel every day.
A mobile museum of sorts? All the way from Virginia!

"stop inside & learn about the Trucking Industry"

Looks shiny and new

At least the path to the house is clear
