A Walk in the Park

Because we were having some plaster repairs done today, it was not possible to come home for lunch. So, my husband and I went to Tortilla Coast for a quick bite, and then took a walk around the neighborhood. We sat a few minutes on a bench in the park (which is adjacent to another park where a Civil War hospital once stood and also serves as the evacuation location for Library employees). It is very relaxing to just sit and enjoy the scenery. It never is disappointing. We sat on this bench before we moved here- looking at real estate options and job opportunities in the Washington Post. Who would have guessed that what we thought may not be possible - actually was.
