Fire Hydrant Parking

I don't know about you, but where we come from, parking is restricted around fire hydrants. But in this town, rules just don't seem to apply - especially to those with an entitlement attitude. As we were walking to work this morning - there was a Mercedes parked almost along side the fire hydrant. It probably was there all day, and probably no ticket was administered. Given the number of fires that can easily spread either way to the houses that are attached, it seems that having access to the hydrant is critical. But what do I know?
Is that a fire hydrant? Who cares?

No one will notice - and he's right!
