Costco- P'tit Basque And Such

The phone rang and our friends told us they would be stopping by after a trip to Costco. We went to Costco with our son and his family when we first arrived here and determined then that we did not have enough space to store items bought in bulk. But things have changed a little, and we now have some extra closet space that could occasionally be used for additional paper products and such. The easy part is shopping in the driveway out of the trunk of their car and happily sharing the stuff- the tough part is trying to figure out the price for just a couple items out of however many the bulk pack started out with. And since neither of us remembered the original number of the bulk packs, we needed to call and find out so we could complete the task. It took quite some time to do it, and we used the calculator to help. In the end it was well worth the trouble, and the supply will certainly last a very long time. But most importantly, the best part about the trip is that it is the only place in town that we can find the French cheese we love so much -  we learned about while living in Milwaukee - from French friends of the family. On second thought, the best part about the whole thing is that our friends remembered that we love the French cheese so much.

The best part?
