As of right now, there have been 74 hits on my blog entry related to Voluntary Furlough. Usually when the counter gets that high on a single item, I've had the good fortune of capturing the attention of DC Blogs. And so it was the case today. And the first thing I do is send a tweet to DCBlogs for noticing. Furlough is a big ticket item right now because a lot of people are being affected by it, both positively and negatively. Having experienced the private sector for thirty years in Milwaukee, and now currently employed by the federal government, the environments are indeed worlds apart. I didn't believe it when I fist started working here, but I certainly do now. And that is not such a positive thing.
