Since it is a milestone birthday it deserves to be dragged out as long as possible. Even though it was last week, we were away for a weekend trip to Florida. It's usually a less busy time for travel, it's my birthday, and we visit my parents in the city I grew up in. We returned home late yesterday afternoon and our grandson who lives just down the street stopped by with a special delivery. It hardly matters what it was, just the fact that he came by was more than enough. But the brownies tasted good too! For whatever reason I heard from more folks than is typical this year. Facebook reminders undoubtedly help, but nevertheless it's nice to be remembered.
