There must be something in the air. Last week I dropped a cup in the sink while I was washing it. The glass broke in to many little pieces. Luckily none of it splattered down the garbage disposal. Then a plastic bottle of syrup fell off the shelf on to two plates below. I don't know what those plates are made out of but they both survived the attack. Last night my husband chipped a salad bowl. It sounded a lot worse from the other room. While we were shower curtain shopping at Crate and Barrel we remembered to get a replacement for the cup. It's really a nice idea to have Bodum insulated cups for hot drinks. We have a Bodum tea pot too. But that is now more for show since we have a single service Keurig coffee/tea device. When we moved here from Milwaukee we got rid of a complete china set, an every day dining set, and just about everything else. It was a pain to have to replace it, but we need to have at least four cups in the house, just in case of visitors.
