Container Store Saves the Day

When we first moved to DC several years ago, we no longer had an office. Our home computer was replaced by a laptop. We ended up with a laptop table that rolls around and is actually very handy. It sat next to the couch and was easily accessible. Now that we have iPads the rolling desktop is not really needed. All my digital art project related material ends up on the top of this "desk" as well as calendars, pens, and junk. So we decided to move the end table from one side of the couch to the other and eliminate the rolling table. This end table has two shelves, but not really used well. So we took a ride to the container store in Arlington to find the perfect solution. There were a lot of bins to pick from and we found a style that we would make do. So what once was a mess is now more organized and the space is better used - a very important concept when you live in 500 square feet. We aren't quite done moving things around yet. But this was a good start.
