A Photoshoot in Alexandria

We were just passing through Washington Avenue in Alexandria after dropping my husband's ring off for repair at the jewelry shop. We drive that way all the time. There are a lot of quaint and charming red brick homes and history in this part of town. George Washington had a townhouse here and oftentimes stayed there to avoid an even longer ride to Mount Vernon, which Is only a couple miles down the street. And if you keep your eyes open, it is not uncommon to come across a wedding party or a bride getting photographed for a memory book. So this was the case - but it was the first time the main subject was a male in a tuxedo. It was a rather dull and cloudy day, and the fellow was being followed by a couple assistants who held up the blocking shade for a better result. He seemed to be enjoying himself. I just wonder what the pictures were for?
