Second Chance Lottery

Like everyone else we bought lottery tickets last week in the hopes of winning a billion dollars. We knew when we bought them that it was a waste of time. We went to two different seven elevens - and spent ten dollars at one and twelve dollars at the other one including five scratch offs. Apparently if you don’t win on the scratch off you can enter the numbers on the second chance section of the Virginia lottery website. So I did. I entered the numbers from three of the five tickets. Two of the tickets had winners - for five dollars and four dollars. Plus we did have the power ball number and that may be worth at least two dollars. So I waited until the second chance drawing to see if we would win five hundred dollars. Well guess what? We didn’t. So now we will go to the seven eleven and cash in the eleven dollars or so. At least we didn’t lose all of the twenty two dollars. But that’s bad enough.
