BIRTHDAY

There is a birthday in the family today. We don't send presents- everyone else does. But what we do is send money to the grandkids' college fund. It doesn't matter who is having the birthday... Mom, Dad, son. It's easier to think of what to do, but it's not much fun for the recipient. I remember growing up having to put any money we received for our birthday and otherwise in to the bank. Though we did not like it at the time, we learned to appreciate that it made a difference when we really needed it. Mom and Dad: Thanks for planning ahead.
