Fountains and Such

The weatherman said that today would be the best day for outdoor activities because the humidity would be the lowest and a heat wave was on the way. My husband takes a walk every morning- and the key word here is morning. After lunch, we thought it might be nice to walk the mall. Along the way, the fountains we encountered were very pleasing to the eye. There is nothing prettier than to watch the water cascade in and along the variety of stones and marbles that are put in its path. And of course, the birds and animals love it too. These are just a few of the many we saw today around the neighborhood. It's disappointing when they are not running! By the time we got home, we were both drenched, and it was not from the water in the fountains. We ran in to the air conditioning and gulped down 2 glasses of lemonade.
