Good Luck Getting Out of This Part 2

A while back I posted a blog about a car that was parked near our house. I wasn't sure what came first - the car that parked in front of, or behind, the car in the middle. It would be impossible to move, except if it was intentionally done that way, but I don't know why anyone would do such a thing. It was and still is the most frequently viewed post since I started this daily blogging process over three years ago. Well, it's over a year later, and the same situation occurred in almost the same spot. Except this time there are different cars involved and there is maybe an inch of space in between the rear of the middle car and the blue car. As you can imagine, parking is a premium here, especially during the busy times of the year on Capitol Hill, when there are baseball games, or special events going on in town. When we lived in Wisconsin we had a two car garage, a driveway that had enough space for a third car to park, and street parking that was rarely needed or used. But you really depended on a car to get from one place to another because nothing was within walking distance. We rarely had cars over five years old because we depended on them so much, especially during the winter months. Here, you could get by without one, but we're not quite ready to give up the "convenience" and expense of parking passes, parking registration, and street parking. That is why we still have our ten year old Subaru. We don't use it that much here, but we don't care if it gets banged up on the street. And that is more than likely to happen in this neighborhood - just to get out of a parking space.
