HARVARD STUDY

Upon retirement, my husband received a letter from Harvard requesting that he participate in a health study for cardiosvacular, cancer, and general health research. He has received boxes full of pills and placebos over the last 10 years. Every so often, the instructions indicated that he stop taking certain pills. Over the course of the study, he has completed numerous questionnaires and also had to get blood drawn. He finally received notice that the study was coming to an end in June. One of the biggest differences from then to now is that the information could probably all be done on line rather than by mail. But the pills and other stuff that needed to be sent would still need to be shipped by mail. It's really disappointing to see a package, only to find out it's just those pills again....hopefully, his participation has advanced medical science and some key finding was discovered. The most annoying thing was that I have real prescription medicine to take, and he had those "fake" pills to take. Somehow, it didn't seem the same.
I hope all this effort amounts to something
