Car Body Work Repair at Koons Chevrolet

We feel discombobulated again. We had to empty out our car to prepare it for auto body work due to a rear end collision. Luckily the other driver had insurance and assumes full liability. We selected Koons Chevrolet because it was convenient to us even though we have a Subaru. We remembered to take the garage door opener for the condo parking. So we drove over for a 9:30 appointment this morning and were taken care of relatively quickly. The arrangements had already been made for an Enterprise rental car through Geico. While waiting there were several trucks pulling in with new cars to unload. The technician met us and was surprised the back bumper was cracked open. It won’t be until Wednesday that we hear about next steps. It sounds like this process will take more than a week contingent upon getting the parts required. We then were picked up by enterprise and got a Toyota Rav. It’s always weird getting in to an unfamiliar car - especially since we currently don’t have keyless entry and need to remember to step on the brake and push a button. We don’t like driving around in a rental car anyway. We can only imagine how inconvenient this must be for working people - because being retired it is terribly inconvenient. We already received a text from Koons asking if we would like to sell our car because used cars are a hot commodity right now. We miss our 2016 Subaru for so many reasons. I hope this ordeal ends sooner than later.
