Paradise In Pots - Smithsonian Gardens

It's been over a week since we ambled along the National Mall. We were away on a road trip to Milwaukee and started back on our routine walks upon our return. We typically walk through the gardens by the Smithsonian Castle, and there was a new sign up pointing us to "paradise in pots." So we made a turn and saw the flowers on display in this unique and pretty setting. Everything always looks so pleasant in this part of town and there is an ever changing display of garden wonders depending on the seasons and the holidays. Many of the plants shown are also in the US Botanical garden, but being outside makes it more realistic. As summer winds down so do the crowds. School started for most students this week. It's still in the 90's, but you can tell fall is on the way. Where does the time go? The flowers must be wondering the same thing.
