Lynchburg Vintage Holiday Sale

The line wrapped around the block twice and there was a three dollar admission fee. We were in Lynchburg visiting family and the holiday sale was in town. It reminded us a bit like Eastern Market on Capitol Hill. I think we were the oldest people in the place. There were tons of babies and thirty somethings. The downtown area is undergoing revitalization and it was very crowded. We were told this was the third year for this affair, and every year the crowd gets bigger. It's held in a lower portion of a huge parking garage - a good thing on a rainy day. People were walking out with furniture and crafty things and they all had smiles on their faces. And of course the food trucks were the filled with eager consumers. After we walked through it all, it was time to say good bye and hit the trail for DC. This was our fourth visit to Lynchburg and it changes every time - except it seems to always rain! But it didn't seem to matter to the folks in town.
