Dyson Hot + Cold

I don't know what our problem is, but space heaters just don't seem to like us. When you live in an 1890's building with strange heating systems and windows that have no insulation, a little extra heat is needed in the winter months. In the Midwest we set the thermostat for whatever was comfortable and didn't think much of it. And we had two gas fireplaces that were wonderful! We have gone through three heaters in three years and decided to bite the bullet and get a Dyson Hot + Cool unit. We got a Dyson vacuum cleaner several years ago and it's lasted so far. Plus with this new heat and cool equipment we get two functions in one, which makes it more versatile. It's a lot smaller than we thought it would be, but it packs a punch. It has a remote control, tilts, and circulates - with a broad focus or one aimed specifically at you. It hardly makes any noise at all. Best of all, it heats the room up and maintains the surrounding space at the temperature that is set - something that never happens with the thermostat that comes - and was updated - with an 1890's building. Let's hope it lasts a season or two. The really cheap heater we got at the hardware store works well in the tiny bathroom and when I used
o keep it in my office at work. But this one should do the trick in our living space - we hope!
