A New Amazon Coffee Pot

We got a new five cup Mr Coffee coffee pot when we first moved to our northern Virginia condo four plus years ago. My husband loved it because it had just the simple features, although you could time it to start in the morning - which was a feature we never used. The other day it just stopped working. The light would go on but it wouldn’t brew. So we thought we could find a simple replacement at the CVS - but they didn’t have any. Rather than drive all over we just decided to get one on Amazon. They didn’t have the same item, so I searched for something that was similar - five cups and a simple on and off switch. Wouldn’t you know that Amazon has its own product. So we thought we would give it a try. It arrived the next day and it was easy enough to figure out - although I always like to read the instructions. It does work just fine and in fact the coffee is a lot hotter and it has a reusable filter basket. The old pot had an automatic off switch - which is probably a good idea. So this little pot will do for now. Let’s hope it lasts for a while.
