As we routinely do, walking in the evening during the summer months has started. We take a typically shorter route this time of year because it gets so hot! As it is also the beginning of the month, we picked up the June Hill Rag by Tortilla Coast. I really don't like carrying it around along with my water bottle, but thought I might forget picking it up on the way home. Because it was such a lovely evening we made our way past the Capitol and took a seat in the old bus stop on the grounds. What a view! So it was the perfect spot to catch up on the news of the neighborhood. While we were there, a bunch of prom goers were passing by with parents taking photos, and several limos dropping off and picking up people with name tags on the Senate side. Now I know there are a lot of benches and places to read, but none have such a stunning background as this! So this is our neighborhood, and it almost looks deserted at this time of year and time of day. Milwaukee doesn't come close!
