Command Broom and Mop Hangers

Living in a small space requires a great deal of organization. Our new one bedroom/den condo in northern Virginia does not have a pantry, utility closet or washroom area. There is an HVAC closet, but it’s supposed to remain clutter free. Our stacked washer and dryer closet has no room, but I put hooks on the back of the door to hang wet clothes in the event of rain. So that leaves us with one alternative - in our bedroom closet on the wall behind the door. I didn’t want to put anything on the door because things would swing upon opening and closing, and behind the door is dead space. This large closet space is essentially our clothes and storage area. We don’t have additional storage in the underground parking area either. And since we are both retired our clothes requirements are considerably less. Plus, we have a good sized entry way closet for coats. So I got four command mop and broom holders and a afixed them to the wall. So rather than lie the items across the top of the“laundry” cart, the cleaning items are now neatly hanging out of sight. When we had our two tiny condos on Capitol Hill we had a patio with a shed that housed a lot of peripheral items, as well as another good sized closet for storage. We gave up some niceties but appreciate our new living arrangements for so many other reasons. At least here we can control our heating and air conditioning.
