Beware the Barber

Our grandson goes regularly for a haircut at the barber shop across the street from the Marine Barracks. Apparently a lot of rather famous military folks have also gone to this place, and their photos are scattered about the walls to view. You can imagine that the only haircut included in the service is "high and tight"... and it really is.  He also says that it is not unusual that he gets nicked and cut every time he goes. But he has grown accustomed to this odd sort of torture. My husband goes to a barber just up the street. He came home yesterday with a really nice haircut, but he also got nicked along the front rght temple area. There are two things in common between the two barbers- they are both ancient and neither one wears glasses. We were used to a different level of service back home, but it may just take awhile to find something comparable. Today, we spent some time looking for another place that could do the same job, but with someone who wears glasses if needed, and does not routinely inflict pain on the customer.
Oops and ouch
