Crane Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier

When we walked over to Fragers yesterday to pick up some household items like batteries and lightbulbs, we came across a humidifier. We really were not thinking about getting one on our way,  but decided it might be a good idea given how dry it gets in our very old building's tiny space. Plus, my husband has allergies that won't quit, and it could help him get a better sleep. The brand is called Crane, from Illinois, and made in China. When we got it home, I read the instructions and realized you are quite limited where it can be placed - two feet above the floor, on a flat surface, near a plug, etc. So we ended up putting it on the kitchen counter after filling the reservoir with water and turned it on. The green light went on, and we left it on medium speed. The mist was seen immediately. There is no filter to fool around with, but the humidifier does require a daily drying out, as well as weekly maintenance with vinegar and water. Nothing is ever really simple. I'm not sure if it will do the trick yet after just a one time try. But both my husband and I slept through the night, which hasn't happened in centuries.  Coincidence? I guess we will find out tonight.
