In Wisconsin the squirrels took over the backyard and all the bird feeders. They were more of a nuisance than anything. Whenever we walk on the Mall it is not unusual to see tourists photographing these critters. Well, I must have caught the tourist bug. Near our house we were walking through the park and this little fellow with the white furry chest caught my eye. They really aren't afraid of anything. We just wonder what would happen if they ever lost their footing and ended up in the circular trash container. Let's hope we never find out.
We have black squirrels showing up around us. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteAt our previous home, we made the mistake of feeding peanuts to the squirrels. It got to the point where we couldn't sit on the deck without them running toward us! We don't do that in the new place. :)
