About a month or more ago the city embarked on a beautification project on the island that divides five intersecting streets in our neighborhood. About ten trees were planted there. The grass was tall then and grew taller still. It was a blog note from a couple weeks ago. I think these efforts are all well and good as long as the area is kept neat and clean. Unless, of course, the idea was to have a jungle. So it was with great delight to me that the area was finally attended to. What a difference a haircut can make. I just wish they would schedule an appointment more regularly. Did anyone else notice? I have my doubts.
