Splash Car Wash

One of the disadvantages of street parking is the abuse the car takes from all the elements. A garage is something I really do miss here. Although finding a place to park is not usually the problem, not having a garage can be. So, because the car was really in need of some soap and water, we made our way over to Splash car wash that is only a few blocks away. The reminder sign to remove valuables is quite clever.... slightly more interesting that the usual language found in most places. And the tip box is not only locked, but bolted to the platform. We used to go to a full service car wash in Milwaukee too, but it was for removing salt from the car, which was a problem almost nine months out of the year. I definitely do not miss that.
What a great name

The false teeth you put under the seat.....

Bolted down tight

  1. That sign is too, too cute. That is a very clever way to make the point of taking valuables out of the car BEFORE it goes in for the wash.
