California is not my cup of tea

It's all about the weather. And if that's all you care about then California is the place you want to be. To me, it is one big parking lot. Having grown up in Florida, the scenery is quite the same, but in Florida there are no mountains and excessive humidity. We have visited many cities in California over the last thirty years, but this time it has definitely lost its' luster. I am anxious to get back to the old east coast with all the grit about it. In the meantime we are spending the last day outside taking in the lovely weather and observing the potential hurricane making way in the Atlantic Ocean. It feels like the other side of the world here - and it is!
