Flagship Car Wash

We usually go to the car wash only when it’s necessary. We got a very small vacuum to use occasionally. But recently the inside of the windshield had a lot of glare. And after going out for brunch yesterday we parked under a tree - which was a terrible mistake. There were so many bird droppings that we no longer had an excuse. So we went to Flagship Car Wash in the neighborhood. It had been getting a lot of bad comments on the next door app. But I understood that it recently had a major overhaul and was under new management. We luckily got there just before a long line started and asked for whatever package included vacuuming. The price was thirty-six dollars and worth every penny, considering the number of people working there and the awful shape the car was in. As we walked through we could see that all of the equipment looked new, and at the end the workers did an exceptional job making sure all of the windows were sparkling clean and the floors and cupholders were vacuumed. The car looked brand new - even the hubcaps sparkled. We aren’t very picky either and were just happy that we could easily see out of the windows again. And wouldn’t you know this weekend there will be a huge rainstorm. Usually it doesn’t matter but we are not able to park in our building garage because they are repainting lines this weekend. Wouldn’t you know….
