Greater Good Kitchen Scale

My husband has always wanted a kitchen scale. I, on the other hand, never saw a need for one. But I do love gadgets. We even checked out Crate and Barrel, but everything was too big and space occupying. Since we got our air fryer, the kitchen has become a more interesting place for me. We got a French fry cutter to make healthy French fries, and a digital thermometer to check the meat, fish or whatever else. I usually use “hey google” to translate ml to whatever, but we finally decided to get a small scale that might be useful as we do more cooking using recipes for the air fryer. It came a bit late from a small business owner on Amazon, but our greater good kitchen scale arrived this week. It’s quite small and low profile. It also has a five year warranty, and it came with an extra battery. It’s simple enough to use and can tolerate up to eleven pounds. We used it for the first time to see how much a potato weighed so we could better calculate how much time it needed to cook in the air fryer. We don’t have a kitchen pantry so we don’t have a lot of storage space for everything kitchen. I suppose it makes things look more “homey.” Maybe once it loses its appeal the scale will go behind closed doors. Until that happens, we’ll add it to the collection of items on the peninsula. That’s when having a peninsula is better than an island - and it’s keeping the air fryer company.
