DSW Disappointment

We decided to go out for lunch today and ended up at Not Your Average Joe's in Bethesda. We like going there for lunch, but we usually go there when someone needs a pair of shoes from DSW which is located right next door. Depending on the time of day, it takes a good 30-40 minutes to get there so it makes sense to coordinate these errands. This time my husband needed a sandal that he uses around the house as a slipper. The sandals he has now are falling apart, and they are open toed. Having open toed shoes in a small living space can be somewhat detrimental. Toes seem to hit everything in sight. I have learned from experience to wear something on my feet at all times just walking through the house. So we were on a mission to find something that had a closed toe, but it was not to be. First of all, the summer sandal section was out of season with little selection. We did find a pair that were okay, but didn't meet the criteria. So he decided to wait until next year. Luckily my husband has a winter pair of closed toed slippers that he forgot he had. Since the season is changing, that will have to do. Sometimes it doesn't pay to wait until the last minute.
