Oxo Good Grips Sink Strainer

I’m not so sure I like these new large one basin stainless steel sinks. They sure look nice, but aren’t easy to keep shiny and new. Regardless of the sink type, one needs to keep non food debris from falling in to the garbage disposal. So we got a metal sink strainer from the container store several months ago and it’s been replaced at least once if not twice. The metal is not kind to the hands as it has pricked my husband a couple of times. It also gets rusty. Since I can’t order another strainer from the grocery delivery, I looked around on Amazon for another idea and came across the Oxo product. It looked good, was primarily rubber, and had an option to pull the strainer up so it could be easily emptied. It arrived last week and looked good in and of itself, but also in the sink. It doesn’t take much these days to get excited about things. Who would have thought it could be a sink strainer?
