DSW and Powerball

It started out as a typical Saturday morning. We took a walk in the neighborhood, but afterwards decided to take a ride to DSW. My husband’s house shoes/slippers couldn’t be repaired anymore so it was time to find a new pair. It usually takes him a few weeks/months to decide when it’s time to finally get replacements. Additionally, today is a day that we get a higher per cent when we use our bank credit card so it was a good excuse. Too bad we didn’t need to make a large purchase! It was already fairly busy in the store. There were a couple of rows of options and my husband settled on an adidas pair soon enough. He knows when he sees something that he likes. So we found his size and headed to the check out. We haven’t been to DSW since we moved to northern Virginia over three years ago. When we lived on Capitol Hill we would visit the store near Rockville Maryland. On our way back to the car we then stopped by the seven eleven. The sole purpose was to purchase a powerball ticket. We walked by a seven eleven in the neighborhood this morning but just kept walking. Then we talked about it and decided against it. We never buy lottery tickets - but did when it was a billion dollars a couple of months ago and I got the powerball number for four dollars. Since there was a store by the DSW we decided to get ten dollars worth, then discussed who we would give the money to. Keep dreaming! We know nothing will come of it, but you always need something to look forward to. At least my husband has new shoes.
