Shark Tank Collars & Co at Tysons Galleria

We have never watched Shark Tank. The only reason I put the show on is because I like the name of it and want to leave the TV on a channel that isn’t obnoxious when the Apple TV streaming programs have ended for the night. But the local headlines about a product that was highlighted on Shark Tank got my attention. Apparently someone from Bethesda created a polo type shirt with a standup collar that can be used for casual office wear. The story mentioned that a pop up store by the name of Collars & Co would be set up today in Tysons Galleria in front of Saks on the first floor. It is intended to be open through early December. Since it was too cold and too windy to walk outside for our morning walk, Tysons Galleria is our second choice to exercise during inclement weather. While we were walking on the first floor we ran in to the pop up shop. And they were right - it is just getting set up as there were boxes of merchandise and one individual was starting to put things on display. Being in the open mall there was also a small curtain drawn cubicle to try things on. As we walked past the area several times the merchandise was slowly getting settled. Then there was an interested party that stopped by, but left without a purchase. Perhaps they were just interested to show appreciation for the show - since there is a large sign that it was “discovered” on Shark Tank. My husband said he would never wear anything with a stiff collar - but he hasn’t worked in years so he doesn’t need to look casual/formal. I’m sure there is a market for the product in this day and age. Anyway, we wish them well!
