Foster Grant Crystal Vision Readers

My husband just had his second cataract surgery done yesterday two weeks after having the first one. All I know is that I didn’t want to be at the outpatient facility any longer than was necessary and was happy to get home. But today we had to go back for the post op visit at the office. So there we were wandering around a building filled with germs. Both of us were health care professionals but we also qualify as the group “at risk” for the virus because we are both over sixty. So being outside was going against precautions. Since one lens inserted was for distance and the other was planned for “medium range,” a pair of readers would be needed until his closer vision eye heals. But even then he may still need progressives so he will be able to read. So we went to the drugstore - another get my place - to pick up a pair of readers and ended up with Foster Grant. They look like his old glasses. So for now, he has two bionic lenses, but needs readers for the adjustment period, may need to have progressives, and has to wear sunglasses - which he hates. He keeps saying things look smaller - but brighter and sharper - because his glasses were magnified for so many years. We have been going to the eye doctor at least eight times since January. I hope it all works out in the end.
