Plum and Post Cloth Napkins

When we lived in the Midwest we had a dining room. Along with the dining room we had a few different table cloths and matching cloth napkins. One set we got while traveling in Iran. When we moved to DC to our tiny Capitol Hill condo we no longer had a dining room. We had a glass table that expanded to twice the size, but not much more than that. Everything we didn’t need was left in the Midwest. Now that we recently moved to Virginia from DC we again have a real dining room space. After getting it somewhat looking like an official dining room with my monster mirror, a distressed wooden plant table rather than a sideboard, a chandelier, Persian carpet and counter stools for the peninsula, something was missing. My husband thought it would be a good idea to have cloth napkins again. He didn’t want white or a solid color for obvious reasons. So I searched for something that would go along with the glass turquoise color and the overall tones of the room. I found a six piece napkin set on Amazon from Plum and Post. They are reversible, but I liked the striped side better than the shells. When they arrived we decided to wash and iron them right away as they were a bit stiff. So now we are ready for a more formal setting - whenever that might happen.
