Today was a beautiful day for any kind of baseball game. We have been promising our grandson that we would get to another one of his games some time this year. We went to one summer game a few months ago and this is another team of youngsters who are really serious about playing. I just wanted to be outside today, so it did not matter where it was. The ball park is about 12 blocks up the street, in a traditional DC neighborhood. It's all very scenic and reminds me of Massachusetts, where there were parks in the neighborhoods. And yes, it really was a beautiful day. I should have been weeding the garden, but I just didn't feel like it.
