Gas Prices

Along one block of Washington Boulevard in Alexandria are several gas stations with several different gas prices. The disparity is striking, and it always makes me wonder why someone would intentionally head to the one that is most expensive. We find ourselves getting gasoline for the car about once every two-three weeks! And when we do, we get it in Virginia, where the prices are typically less than DC- and definitely lower than Georgetown. There is one station in Georgetown along the Rock Creek Parkway that is easily one dollar higher than anywhere else. I suppose folks in Georgetown don't need to look at the prices before buying, but for most of us non Georgetowners, it makes a lot of sense.
